The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been added to the Financial Act Task Force (FATF) grey list
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been added to the Financial Act Task Force (FATF) grey list, placing it under increased monitoring while it addresses strategic deficiencies in its anti-money laundering regime.
The FATF does not call for the application of enhanced due diligence measures to be applied to these jurisdictions, but encourages its members and all jurisdictions to take into account the information presented in the notice in their risk analysis.
